ADAPTATION

These systems are not fixed packages

Modules change with the need

Every project here grew out of one organisation's own processes. Portal didn't start with 20 modules; it grew as needs appeared, and still does. In another organisation modules get added, removed and rearranged around the workflow.

Existing systems stay in place

The software already in use doesn't have to be replaced. A new system is built to talk to it — from the corporate directory server to the existing account infrastructure, it connects on top of what is already there.

The need sets the boundary

If a need resembles none of these five projects, the process is heard from scratch and a system is built for it. These are examples, not a catalogue.

In these projects AI doesn't sit in a separate chat box; it works where the task actually flows, to make that task shorter.

Corporate knowledge becomes answerable

Policies, procedures and manuals are indexed semantically; staff ask a question and get an answer with its source. Access rights are embedded in the query itself — nobody reaches data they aren't allowed to see.

Log noise becomes a readable diagnosis

Server logs stop being a pile to read line by line and reduce to a clear account of what broke and where it came from.

A described process becomes a formal document

A workflow is described in plain language; out comes a swim-lane flowchart PDF with decision branches and signature fields.

All three run in production; Portal's assistant is switched off in the live demo because it needs an external service key. The same approach can be applied to existing processes without building a new system from scratch.
